***If you choose to wear a helmet, please bring a bike helmet with you. As of October 1, 2024, Maryland law requires all children under the age of 18 must wear a helmet. Southern Grace Farm WILL PROVIDE a helmet for children. If you want to wear an equine approved helmet, Southern Grace Farm will provide you with one. Just ask.***
All guests arriving at Southern Grace Farm are required to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement. Pretty much this is a 5-page legal document that in a nutshell says that you realize you are dealing with a 1000 lbs animal. Things can happen. If they do, you will not sue the Farm owner, Trail guides or any landowners of property that we may cross in our travels or their family members. We ask that you wear a shoe or boot with a 1/2 inch heel, a jean type of pant, and a weather appropriate shirt or jacket. Tipping of your trail guides is customary and the guides do depend upon your tips. If you choose to wear a helmet you can bring a bike helmet with you or you can waive the use of a helmet with your hold harmless agreement.
